foster
Provide short term care for children and youth who have been removed from their families due to abuse and neglect. Data shows chances of reunification increases when children are able to be cared for in their own communities.
adopt
Over 100,000 children have a goal of adoption in the United States, but up to 85% of these children have a family identified to adopt them. This leaves 25,000-30,000 children waiting in foster care for an adoptive family.
respite
Become licensed to care for children in foster care for a very short term stay, from a few hours to a couple of weeks. Respite care provides relief for foster parents.
